In October of 1967 the Camp Taylor Fire Protection District Members started and incorporated a group known as the CAMP TAYLOR IMPROVEMENT CLUB.
Over the years, this club purchased property, equipment and clothing apparel for the Camp Taylor Fire District and its members.   In 1968 the Improvement Club purchased its last fire truck for the district.  It was a 1968 Oren Quint with a 65 foot ladder.
Sometime in the late '90's, the Camp Taylor Fire Protection District Holding Company took full responsibility of the property located at 1441 Lincoln Avenue, then known as Station One as well as all apparatus and other property.
In February of 2010 the Improvement Club was abolished and the Firefighter's Club was created.  There is a five person Board which oversees the operations of the club which includes the stocking and up-keep of the three vending machines located at the station.
